Translating & Interpreting

  x   Translation

Having lived in Venezuela from the age of 4 months through high school, I grew up speaking both Spanish and English. I developed my professional Spanish working as a reporter in Caracas and Mexico City, and have spent much of my professional career immersed in both languages. These days I work regularly as a Spanish-English translator for the OAS and its Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. In New Mexico, I am certified as a court interpreter by the Administrative Office of the Courts, and do both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in settings as diverse as academic or business conferences, medical appointments, and legal hearings and depositions. I belong to the New Mexico Translators & Interpreters Association.
